About the Event

TheCityUK Annual Conference, in partnership with Citadel Securities, will focus on the future growth of the UK-based financial and related professional services industry. Through a series of virtual keynote speeches, panel discussions and Q&A sessions we will cover key issues such as innovation, sustainability and the industry’s role in supporting economic recovery post-Covid.

Our 2021 event, also kindly supported by PA Consulting and Phoenix Group, will bring together industry leaders, senior policymakers, academics and journalists and be run entirely online. Once registered, you will be able to join as many sessions as you can across the day.

Your email address will act as your login for the conference, so please ensure you provide the correct details when you register.
It is not necessary to register for individual sessions. Once you are registered for the conference, you will be able to join any session throughout the day.

The most up-to-date agenda will be available on this page. Please note, that due to our speakers’ busy schedules, the agenda may be subject to last minute changes. Should there be changes on the day, we will include an updated agenda in the documents that can be downloaded from the vFairs website.
Yes. We will have some sessions available ‘on-demand’, so that you can watch these at a time convenient to you. We will also record as many live sessions as possible and make these available for you to access after the conference.
All you need is an internet connection to enable you to access this website. You do not need to download or install any apps or software to view the live or pre-recorded sessions. You will also not require a webcam. Please note that the live sessions will take place via Zoom.

If you have restrictions on accessing Zoom, please inform us at in good time before the conference so that we can provide you with dial in details for the live sessions.
You will need a stable connection in order to access the conference. If you have difficulties during the day with your sound or visuals, please exit the virtual platform, check your internet connection and try to log back in.

If you continue to have connection issues, many of the sessions will be recorded and you will be able to access these on demand at another time convenient to you.

During live sessions where a Q&A will be included, it will be possible to ask a question using the ‘Q&A’ function through Zoom. Please type your question, along with your name and company, and the session chair will include as many as they are able.
Yes, we will be recording all sessions where we have permission to do so from the speakers so that they can be accessed on demand.
On demand content will be available for 30 days after the conference has concluded through the vFairs website.
Yes, there will be documents available for you to download. You can add these to your ‘virtual briefcase’ during the event, and get them emailed to you at the end of the day.
